Marble Bar to Leinster
In this update, Marble Bar to Leinster, we skirt the western deserts. It is a part of Australia that holds pockets of gold and vast mountains of iron ore.
The farmers count their stock in the thousands and their acres in the hundreds of thousands. For the Martu people, who have lived in the deserts with strong traditions for countless thousands of years, this has brought difficult changes. But for all the challenges of this remote part of Australia we have been amazed by the generosity of spirit among all who now live here.
